Doug,

What I meant was changing out the linkages to a type (Ceramic, Carbon Fiber) that would not conduct the heat like the metal ones do. Once you take care of the sealing up the holes and cracks, insulating the critical areas, the linkages are the next logical item to mitigate.

I responded to Bert's email on a Socal tech session, so hopefully we will get some good data and images to share with the group.
