Does anyone know of a place that sells quality Healey clothing items like jackets, shirts, watches, sweatshirts etc.? My birthday is coming up and my wife is asking me for hints as to what I want and I can think of nothing better to have than a quality, Healey jacket, coat or even a watch. As I live in the Great White North, something on the warmish side would be good. I see these NASCAR guys wearing these beautiful Team Chevrolet, Ford or Dodge jackets and they do look sharp so I'm kind of envious and would like to show them up! Recently, it seems to me, there is a place in Germany or Switzerland that sells quality items but I can't locate the e-mail addresses.

While the North Texas AH Club doesn't have much in the way of clothing,
we do have a Koool Radiator Fan and a relatively inexpensive watch.
I've got one and wear it a lot, especially to Healey events.

The URL is www.ntahc.org Scroll down and click on "Healey Regalia and Other Stuff"

Victoria British (https://www.victoriabritish.com) and Moss Motors (https://www.mossmotors.com)
as well as most other Healey parts suppliers (Google for "Healey Parts") have a whole range of
goodies that you would like.

BTW - Happy Birthday !

I'm in the apparel manufacturing business 30 plus years. Having been personally frustrated trying to find an attractive great high-quality embroidered club jacket, I've decided to have one custom made. If there is sufficient interest I will contract a limited run of them.

It will be a letterman-style jacket. Wool and leather, quilted nylon inside. The left breast will have an embroidered patch, either Jaguar or Healey (or in my case maybe both, perhaps one on each upper arm). The back will have either the Healey Wings logo or the Jag Leaper logo embroidered - approximately 8 inches across the back. Colors as yet undetermined. Probably in black on black and dark green/black. Cost will be whatever they cost - I'm not interested in making any money on this. I'm figuring around $200 delivered. To do a production run of jackets, even with putting the squeeze on my friends with 12-head embroidery machines, I'll need at least 50 jackets to make this work. Please pass this note along to other LBC lovers. Maybe we can do this.

Oh, one last thing: kindly skip the on-line discussion about protected logos, copyright infringement, etc. When the time comes I'll decide what to do with respect to copyright or license issues. This is a non-profit venture and I seriously doubt anyone would give a hoot what we do here.

There's a fellow named Ledermann (larry) Rupp from Clover, South Carolina who attends several shows on the East Coast and was one of our sponsors at Conclave 2003 in DC. He makes really fine stuff--jackets, sweaters, wool tartan blankets,leather/cloth bags, etc. for several marques including Healeys. I don't think he has a website and I no longer have his phone number--you may have to do a white-pages search under his name.

At triple-c.com, you can send in any article of clothing and they will 'customize' it for you. Several people in my car club have done this and have great looking denim jackets, sweatshirts, chambray shirts, etc. I have a denim jacket that I'm sending into them for some work, as soon as I decide what I want on it. From what I understand, you just tell them you want to send in an itema and have it customized with (fill in the blank) design from their selections.
