My BN1's ignition light stays on after switching off. I've checked the switch...any clues?
Thanks Guido, I forgot to mention, the Voltage Regulator, before I could get to the isolator switch, became very hot and smelly. I'm wondering if it could be the culprit. If it is illuminated when running then it is, as DerekJ says, not charging. If it is illuminated after you switch off - as you say however - then it is getting current when it should not be and you may have a short.

Well, like my daddy always taught me, "Never ignore a hot and smelly voltage regulator. That's never a good thing!"
