I am gearing up to attempt install of a new back panel and folding parcel shelf in my 67 BJ8
When I got the car this was missing. I have the bare wood folding panel and proper hinges already put together and with
2 escutcheon plates but not even a vague idea where to start in order to do a proper job.
Could someone help me get started, perhaps with pictures of your properly installed back panel/parcel shelf.
I would truly appreciate any advice for this project.
Thanks

Do you have the metal frame that goes round the edge of the shelf ?
You also need the foam for the seat back and whatever you are using to cover it and finally the carpet piece for the shelf .
you need some upholstery skill and some contact adhesive a staple gun ..........and lots and lots of patience together with strong thumbs .
