Healey and TR6 ignition rotors

So I just found that supposedly Triumph TR6/TR250 use the same ignition rotor as the 3000s. Can anyone validate this?
I guess I will post over there and ask if they too are having rotor problems.

What rotor 'problems' are there? BTW , Early and late 3000 rotors are different.

Yes. Ignition rotors. I changed the post to add ignition. Also I looked on the Moss web site and sure enough they call out the same part numbers for both TR6 and 3000.
So I thought perhaps our Triumph cousins have the same issue. Rotor failures.

Yes, the late BJ8s and TR6 share ignition rotors, but not the earlier Healeys with the DM6A dizzys. The best brand I have found is "OEM" which makes the style that has "remove to oil" cast in to the plastic. The rivet is pushed outboard for less chance of shorting issues, and there is no metal clip to hold the rotor in place, which can also help short your ignition signal to ground.

Well BH, I been telling you chaps to remove the rivet and the little piece of metal inside soon as you get one of those rotors and replace the missing rivet with one made using JB Weld.
