Headlight Trim Ring Attachment

Hello, need a little help in locating where this little clip goes to fasten down the chrome finish ring on a Austin Healey BT7. I have provided a few pics as to what I am referring to, but really would like someone to point out what exactly this little clip attaches to the bucket or where on the bucket. Thanks!

It looks like the photo is going to post rotated....but you can see it to the right of the shroud, fender seam.
