HI Folks.. Wow.. I may drive my TR this summer..after 7 years! Oh yeah, headlights. The buckets on my car only have two adjuster screws. Is that right? Been a long time. I don't see how that can work. The lights just flop around. Also, what is that little tab toward the back of the bucket. My car is a 60 model..TS 78***.
As an aside, was the solid rear bench seat standard or an option? 20230413_160023[1].jpg20230413_162637[1].jpg

Congratulations on your perseverance! Two adjusters is correct, but there needs to be a few more parts to make it work. A spring hooks to that tab and pulls an inner rim, which keeps tension on the 2 adjusters. See parts 19 & 20 in the Moss diagram:

I learned something here. I did not know the later lights had 2 adjusters. I have one of those 2 adjuster headlights around here also. It must have come of a 1961 I had years ago. I actually thought it was a Ford light, but this post explains it.

Hi Folks.. Been sidetracked for a few days. Thanks for the replies. Jeff, got a set from TRF. Didn't break the bank. Thanks for the offer. I have stuff that I could pass on..hardware mostly. Need 6 hard to find screws/bolts..need to order 25-50.
Sarastro, thanks for the picture. They really do help..you know what "they" say...
