I was wondering if upgrading to a header is advantageous for a spirited driver. Are there any other options besides the Dennis Welch Header, perhaps one i can buy in the states? Also, i don't want to have to modify much to install one if possible.

Contact Kirk Racing Products, https://www.kirkracing.com/ They should be able to make you a set of 6-cylinders headers. To really gain the performance you want with them, I suggest some mild head porting as well.
 
Not sure if it helps but my 100/4 has a big bore system with custom headers branded "SONIC". Goes very well and sounds amazing!
