I know if anyone will know, you folks in the racing forum will know - please have a look at my problem in This Thread ... at least two of the stud holes are deeper than the others such that if I thread them all the way into the head, there is not enough threads sticking above the head to put the nuts on. Do I have to screw the studs all the way in, or is it possible to not screw some of the studs all the way in and not have any danger (if I torque it properly)? Please answer in my other thread in the TR forum....thanks.

Hi Basil, I ain't no racer no more. However, each stud must be torqued to about 30 Ish Ft Lbs prior to installing the head and torquing the nuts. Since it is only a couple of them I would have special ones made.---Fwiw-Keoke
