General TR Head-studs, torques and sizes

All good information from the posts on other forum.
I'm not a big fan of the helicoil... I know they work and lots of people use them. My preferred threaded insert is a Keensert.
Have a look....
 
I agree completely about Helicoils and have been regularly posting the same advice on the UK forum.
However this will be tricky at the bottom of a 4-inch hole.

Nice video BTW.

I am actually considering making replacement studs with UNF one end and something bigger on the other end.
