Head Rest Removal

I am replacing the seat foam on my 74 midget but not the back foam. A local company is going to make custom seat covers for me when I am done. The question I have is how do I remove the head rests? There does not seem to be a button or lever to get them out! Please help. Thanks

There is a small clip inside the seat, you can not get to it.
Put the top down, stand on the tranny tunnel and door sill, grab the headrest with both hands, mind your chin, and pull up sharply.
Did I mention to mind your chin /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Frank is right (as usual!!). I just took the headrests off some Midget seats last week, and brute force is the only thing that works. If the seats are out of the car it is even tougher. You need someone to sit on the seat to hold it down while you yank!!

Ain't technology wonderful!!! Thanks
