Head Rest removal.

Got another question. Seems I am having trouble removing the head rest form the seats of 74.5 "B". Any secret method to removing these.
Thanks,
Tom

Yeah- the secret method is to grab the headrest with both hands and tug rather vigorously. Be careful not to hit yourself when the headrest flies out!

To help the process along, you can spray a little penetrating oil down into the headrest posts- that seems to work for some folks.

Theres a little metal tap the keeps the headrest from coming all the way up...It's usually frozen so shoot some penetrating oil down along the back side of the stock. Then pull with both hands(and the top down).

Top Down?? Oh, I get it. Have not had top on in so long I had forgotten about that. Oh Yes, Seats are not in car either. Just found them again the other day. Still looking for other things that I don't remember what they are now.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, do we get to see a pic of the paint job?

Jack, You don't think I might jinks the thing by taking a picture? You know how things have been going around here. Was thinking I might get a little trim on it first.
Tom
