Looks like a forged Internals LS series engine that may have seen too much of a power adder.

Nah, that is a small block Ford(oil filter mount and motor mount bosses give that away) in aluminum with screw in core plugs, steel cylinder liners and roller cam bearings. Looks like a Dart block. Saw a number of images of this one some years back, and I do believe it was just a wee bit too much nitrous. Saw it on a drag racing site.

You are correct, I didn't notice the oil filter. It's sad to think how much money is laying destroyed on that shop floor.

I'd have to pass on that one, Dar. At my age I've learned when t' fold 'em. No amount of wavin' th' Magic Wand over it would resurrect it.
