I need a few hints on what I should be looking for with this. The lights don't work when switch is on.But,the ignition warning light flashes instead.
There was a melt down on the wiring to the lighting switch, and since then this is what's been happening /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Post your year / VIN so we know what wiring you have.

Finally resolved this issue.Melted wiring all welded together. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Repaired the wiring, reconnected switch and, Hey Presto!!
It all works. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

That's great!
On my 78 Midget my hazards worked until I glued on the little green thingy on the switch that says "Hazard". Then it stopped. I looked at wiring, couldn't find anything.
Finally I just worked the switch back & forth a bunch of times and it started working again. Thank you Lucas!
