Hey all,
Starting to put my BN6 back together and having trouble
getting a good ground on it. I purchased it about 80%
through a 100% total restoration project so now having to
install the interior,chrome, grill, lights,windshield,etc.
In the process of starting it back up, the positive cable
from the battery was connected to the sheet metal on the
back of the trunk wall. The cut off switch is not installed
at this time. I couldn't get a spark or pump so started
doing a check of all the systems and turned out to be the
bad ground. If I ground to the trans mount, rear end, shocks
with a jumper cable and then to the + post everything works.
Will not get a ground to any of the sheet metal on the
inner panels even if I find an unpainted spot. Any ideas
on where I should ground the cable to ? Or maybe I am
missing something that y'all might know about ?
Thanks,
Mike
