As long as I'm at it pasting wheels all over the place, I thought I would see what an MG would look like with TR3 style cut-down doors and huge wheels on low-pros. Hee hee hee. :jester:

Here's my idea for the 4 eyed true "Spridget". :jester:

scary!

you have way too much time on your hands - :computer:

here's what I want: a BE back, a square body front, broklands windscreen, wire wheels.

draw that!

And while you're at it, graft the rear quarter panels from a Riley Elf onto a Mini Traveller, please. Keep the sedan roof. In my minds' eye it will look much like a 55 Chevy Nomad!

Here's Ms. Triss with the Brooklands windscreen for starters.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure what you had in mind Silverghost but here's a go at it.

Yeah, that first one is growing on me a little too. It looks ridiculous the first time you see it but after a few times, your brain adjusts and it actually looks kinda unique!

This latest one is one of my better efforts. I've always wanted a gullwing car since I first saw the Delorean in "Back to the Future". Spridgets might not be eligible with their soft tops but what's stopping an MGB GT?

Very close! Move the rear pillars back to the tail lights and extend the roof line and you've got it.

I kinda thought that is what you mean because that would make it look more like the Nomad but then doing that makes it look so much like the Mini Traveller itself that I couldn't really see the difference. In fact, I wasn't really familiar with the Riley Elf but it has lots of similarities with the Mini.

OK, while we're being goofy I dream of a Midget with a VW Fox wagon back - small shooting brake

The main reason I like thinking about this idea is that the back end of a Mini wagon is flat and rather featureless. Using the El f quarters etc. adds shape and details. I don't think it would have taken much for Riley to really make one.

Oh yeah, probably. I just did a google image search. For the 4-eyed square nose, Gullwing and Mini Traveller I was mostly trying to find cars of the same color so that I wouldn't have to fiddle as long with color matching.

Your car make a great model however!

Can you increase the angle of the windshield on a BE/ not a lot just a skosch
I have always thought it was just too upright and would look better even slightly leaned back from where they are.

Compared to the original

I think it does look better! It would need to be taller to acomadate a soft top. But yea I like it!
