This is when you need a true winter, Jack. Hard to take a car off the road, so the freezing cold (and snow and ice and salt) make it easy for us 4-seasons folks to get up the motivation for the big projects.
Miss Agatha deserves the best, Jack. You'll get there. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
Drive her till the weather turns...I've gotta pull the engine in the '63 I'm taking to Missouri to do the clutch..we can give one another encouragement over the Jan-Feb timeframe!

Jack, do you have a friend you can schedule in to give you a hand for a day or two. If everything is lined up, and with a little help, it really isn't that big of a job. The getting started is the hard part. Before the friend gets there, have everything loose so his imput is on hte actual pulling of the motor and tranny. But, you do have the lack of winter issue. Good luck.
There's cold weather coming, even to Florida, and that will be a better time for this project. When the time comes you will be surprised how quickly and easily the engine/tranny slips out.
If you have a helper, even better...if not, invite me down, shouldn't take the two of us more than a month or two. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
