Havin' a Wonderful Time - Wish You Were Here!

"I Live on a Big Round Ball".... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Glad you made it home Mickey. We're home too. Sunburned, tired and badly windbeaten after 12 hours of topdown interstate driving.

Pictures tomorrow!

Was an absolutely PERFECT weekend. Other than the slight issue with the truck's transmission...

Was just bad karma when John wanted to trailer his A. Karma bit us in the butt to the tune of $1340.

The identity of the strange vehicle is an Armstrong Siddeley
pick up conversion.

Mangles....trailered.....his....A?!?!?!?!?!

I thought I felt a minor tremour in the Madrid Fault Line this weekend!

I should clarify. I love car shows. I love to see the cars, hang out with the people. I absolutely know that Mickey & Blake had the best cars in their classes. And had Binabox been beaten by a car, and not a piece of art, I wouldn't care at all. But don't park next to me & brag about how you spent x amount of $ having the car professionally restored, don't tell me how it's only driven on and off the trailer. I don't care if Binabox ever gets an award, but yea, I'm not thrilled about Chuck's hard work and efforts, and the fact we probably have 8000 miles on that car in 9 months and put her in the same class as a Monet MG.

No kidding Rick. Was bad karma from the beginning. He just dropped that V8 back into the A.

~shrugs~ Ran fine after we took it off the trailer!

Well I consider Binabox to be the "Work of Art" there.

Trailer queens are like show dogs... owners are the same, too... why bother.
