Have you guys seen this???

He is a member here and posted someplace about how his windsheld was done.

Hi,

There are some engine compartment photos and other I couldn't fit here. They are posted at the Moss Motors Forum in the photo section.

www.britishv8.org will publish a lenghty "how to" article I wrote in their next edition. It should contain all of the details that might interest you. But, I'll still try to answer all of your questions.

I appreciate your interest,

Rick Bondy

Northville, huh? I am in Sterling Heights.

Beautiful car! I'll have to keep my eyes out for your article.

And I am in West Bloomfield....

Richard, are you a member of any of the local british car clubs, like Windsor Detroit MG Car Club, Detroit Triumphs or Austin Healeys? Your car is so unique and interesting I am surprised that we haven't seen it at one of the local events like Battle of the Brits or the Saturday "Cars and Caffeine" on Woodward.

I'm looking forward to seeing it when we all thaw out this spring.

Steve

Sorry, no current club memberships and I don't display at shows anymore. Years ago (maybe 20?) I did win 1st place at the Ford Museum Motor Muster 3 years in a row with a 50 MGTD equipped with a Shorrock Blower(#19).

I guess I'm selfish and want to spend as much time in the garages as possible. Lately I've been occupied between the Zetec/Sprite, 59 Jag XK150S 3.8, and a 69 Jag E-Type FHC. Plus I'm searching something new. I'm not young and I've had a rule that one should restore a different model car each time. Thus I'm usually moving between brands and models. No affiliations....but usually British.

This Sprite has been fun but there isn't much left I can change on it.....

so, what are you doing to the jags?

The 59 XK150 S 3.8 (Serial Number One) has been sold. The 69 E-Type FHC is done and it needs a new owner (nothing left to due on it). You can see the E-Type at www.xkedata.com enter 1R25901 in the search block.

Rick,

Hey, when the weather clears (maybe by May!!), I'd love to come down and see your garage. I'd also love to see that Sprite before you sell it and move on to something else.....

So expect an email from me in a couple of months...

Thanks.

pretty - the quality of your work is outstanding!

Steve,

Wonderful !!

The 69 E-type is at our my home in Northville. It is in a heated garage on a 4 post lift, so no need to wait forever for the cold weather to pass. I'm retired so anytime....

The Zetec Sprite is at the other house in Port Austin, about 150 miles due north. We spend lots of time there and there are enough country roads in the area to exercise it. Come on up for a visit !

Northville phone is 248 349 0754
