Recall Date: APR 24, 1978
Component: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:CARBURETOR SYSTEM
Potential Units Affected: 45,000
Summary: THE RETAINING SCREWS ON THE FUEL BOWL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO LOOSEN, ALLOWING SEEPAGE OF GASOLINE FROM THE CARBURETOR.
Consequence:
Remedy: THE DEALER WILL CHECK THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD/CATALYST SYSTEM AND CARBURETOR AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY REPAIRS WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.

Ummm... your closest dealer would have been Oliver C. Joseph on Main Street in Belleville. Used to stop by and drool at the B's and Midgets and laugh at the Fiats on my walk home from Jr High.

I wonder what ever happened to all those cool "MG Service" and "Authorized British Leyland Dealer" signs they had back in the shop....
 
I wish I had "authorized BL service' for my garage. Maybe we should have them reprinted.

Triumph Rescue has an old Triumph sign with the shield logo. It isn't broken at all. He just needs a place to mount it....
