It seems like hard tops have been a popular topic lately, so I thought I would post these from my local craigslist.

these are all from the same guy I bought my 1974 Midget from. He is getting rid of everything he has related to spridgets. If anyone wanted me to take a ride and look at anything, I would be happy to, he is only 20 minutes from my house
 
I'd like one for my MKI Midget too someday, maybe shipping is too much for these things though.

Don't know exactly how to describe it...it has the clips over the windschield & has the body line along the front & sides a few inches from the edges...page 46 of "Original Sprite & Midget" has a photo.
 
Tony, here is the response from the seller

"Some people have used these Bugeye tops on Mk I Midgets. There are factory photos of Bugeye tops on Mk I Midgets. I also have a top for a Mk I Midget which I'll sell for $450. Those are extremely rare. All my tops are OEM. "

in looking in the Original Sprite & Midget book, the picture of the hardtop I posted looks identical to the one on page 68 - Midget Mk I

the black top on the left looks to be the same as on page 46, for Sprite Mk I

the seller says they are original, and looking at the pictures they do look identical.

Believe you're correct about the black one - didn't see it in the photos...looks like it has no back window...what's he asking for it?
 
Ask him about his MkI Midget top, please:

Yep, I went to page 68 like you said...then, reread this thread & found where he said he had a top for a MkI Midget for $450.
 
Dunno......I can't see the body line above the door area - & it doesn't have the clamps for over the windshield...if I look closely at the black top, it has them.
