Harness Decal Position?

Yes, I'm one of those guys who tries to do things sorta concours. "Sorta" but not 100%.

I'm getting ready to show my car at an all-comers local British car show and want to affix the plastic/mylar Lucas decal/label to the wiring harness. All I can tell from studying the concours guidelines is that it's positioned somewhere below the chassis plates on the firewall. Q: Is it just a wrap-around on the main harness below the chassis plates, ie only a 1" label showing? Easy enough, I suppose, but why have the decal/label so long? It could be half the length and do an adequate job. Am I missing something? Many thanks.

If I recall, the yellow label goes (facing the firewall) just to the right of the main harness clip.
