Thanks for the offer , John and thanks to Lin for restating the link.
For some goofy reason, the link in your 6-6 post worked for me.
Saved the document, and now I have a great roadmap.
Just got the seal kit (HOD253) from AH Spares, so hope to get on with
this soon. Still waiting for seats and panel kits from moss.
Thanks again to both of you guys.

I bought all the pieces for my 2 seater hardtop from Cape Engineering in UK. Prices were comparable and service was great. I would buy from them again.
Regards,
Bundyrum
I used Lin's article and the article by Roger Moment in Chatter Mag June 1998. I ordered all parts from Cape Intl. Steve was extremely helpful with parts needed. I got a couple of BJ8 hardtop front hold downs and was able to modify them to fit my BT7
Has anyone else noticed the hard top latches from original tops are not quite the same as the reproductions. The flip handle on my originals were quite pointed at the ends but the repros are just rounded at the ends. Unfortunately I only had one original to go by so I now have the repros on the top.
I had the base of a BT7 mounting bracket but the connector was missing. I kept looking on the net for someone who was selling a grouping of leftover parts and found two for the BJ8 top which is different than the BT7 but with a punch I was able to take them apart and modify the the handle and hook onto the mount.
