I am getting ready to restore my hard top for a BT7. I know some seals are available, some are not. I know Sports and Classics have the side seals. How about the other rubber seals? Which ones are most correct? I saw Kanter Auto Products have "Windless Seals", has anybody used these? Are they correct? Please let me know what are the best.

I got the whole kit from Bill Bolton. He does not have a web site but knows everything about Healeys. Very nice guy.

Refinishing the aluminum on the hard top was one of the dirtist, longest jobs on the restore. Have fun.

I bought everything I needed for my BT7 hardtop from Bill Bolton in Oregon. I don't have his number handy but if you look up the tri-carb registry you should find it.
Bill is great to talk to and the stuff he sells is good.

I did buy some seals (I think they are called windlass seals - they seal the side curtain openings) from Sports and Classics and did not use them since they were not cloth covered like the original. If you are not going for orginality and would like them, I would be glad to send them to you for the cost of mailing.
 
Jerry, During your restore, did you remove the aluminum trim from the hardtop or did you refinish it in place? The trim looks like it is glued to the fibreglass since I don't see any screws that would attach it. If you removed the trim, how did you do that without bending it? Did you have the trim anodized when you were finished removing the dings?
