TR2/3/3A Hard Top Part

I purchased a hard top headliner from TRF and the last item of the installation instructions it says "cover the listing rail with the long rectangular piece of material". Does anyone know what a "listing rail" is and what does it look like? I suspect my hard top is missing this item. If so, how important is it?

Hi Bobby I am not curtain, but I believe what they are referring to is a metal band that goes from side to side up along crown of the top in the center. The headliner would go behind it and held in place with the band and then the band would get rapped with the fabric. The band is about an inch wide and a 1/8 thick and is the length of the arch and pinched into position. Basically the band is just a piece of flat stock steel and might be able to be home made.

Here’s a pic of the factory hardtop that’s been sitting in my garage rafters for almost 20 years. I don’t see that part on my top.
