It is if you live in Anchorage.

17 degrees on Thursday...55 today. I don't know what to expect tomorrow.

Snowing like the dickens here in NJ (Jan 18).

We're stuck up here in our Summer house on ~The Lake~ (no TV). But not really *stuck*.....we love it here. Lots of food, books and internet of course.

Today, we'll walk about a mile across the frozen lake and talk to the guys ice-fishing. We'll bring hot chocolate and take pictures.

Six months from now we'll be out in the same spot in our 12' row-boat hanging our feet over the edge and into the water.

The changing seasons are sort of surreal to me......I love the contrast.

Contrast! Yes - I sure hear you there. Seasonal change is of the reasons I really like living here in southern New England. This morning we're getting similar snow to you; good day to sit by the woodstove, do some reading, and enjoy a pork roast with green beans and baked acorn squash!

26 y'day....53 today.....who knows???

Today started at 40 (Really cold for being on the coast down here!) and wound up going up to 73! Has dropped to 68 now!...They are talking about record lows for this coming week, predicting below freezing temps! :eeek:

There goes the orange juice crop.
HeyDoc, What was the laddies name that pushed the OJ from your state?

Anita Bryant from Fort Smith, Arkansas....

Which-un'?? Anita Bryant had a go at it but I don't think she was who you'd think of ~first~ in concert with "juice"...

Well, I've had it! I'm heading to the beach mid-week....look out, Jack, I'm coming your way!

I posted while Terri did. Didn't see her reply 'til now!

"...and I hope Anita Byant never, ever does one-a my songs."

A good Jimmy Buffett line.
