Hard day...

That would've been Jeffypoo, by my reckoning. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

PASS THAT ON, would'ya? We could rotate it thru the "BCF Squadron".

Jack, I did nearly three years at Langley. 70~73. MAC detatchment assigned to a TAC base... we had to scrounge for just about EVERYTHING.

Doc, it weren't me that glommed it.
The name of the book that I was trying to remember the other day, based on the 309th pilots tour at Tuy Hoa, was "Son of Thunder". by J.D. Wetterling.
When I first went to Davis-Monthan, we were a TAC unit on a SAC base. What a sorry state of affairs that was. We finally took the base over, so all was right with the world.
Jeff

Hmmm. That surprises me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'll hunt down the book. Had really good luck with Amazon so far. THX!

AFCS here. Renters at every base....

I glomed the book, and will pass it on when finished.
