Don't know what it means, but when I was at Harbor Freight over the weekend, I noticed that alot of the tools were no longer Chinese, but made in Taiwan.

It may be true! They've had to start using what they previously just exported to us.

It makes for a better appreciation of metallurgy and tolerances, methinks.

If you put one of those new sourced tools in your belt, did you Taiwan on??

The economy is shifting, now the Chinese are having to use a lesser grade of tool, now manufactured in Taiwan. Kind of like going from Beverly Hills to East L.A. for a resturant. (still chuckeling at the post above)

I hate to say this, but I just finished putting together a three tray cart that I bought for $79 at HF. The bolts were so-so, but I didn't need G-8 for this project. It is every bit as strong and nice as any Craftsman bench or cart that I've bought in the last ten years. In fact the roller wheels and finish might be better.

But it was made in China, so that probably explains it.

So Paul, you say "go for it!"
Kind of like the drawer sizes better on the HF one

Don, I really hate this stuff. I will do everything that I can, including paying more to "buy American", but the market place is so full of stuff made overseas that the domestic suppliers are getting out.

I prefer Harbour Freight because their tools are cheap and perform just fine for the one or two times I will need them in my lifetime. No, I am not pessimist, just a realist senior. Besides, I (we) invest to have decent returns on investments , a requirement achieved mostly through overseas manufacturing.

It's bein' drop-shipped here. I hacked th' order form.

Thanks, Don! :jester:

Your welcome Doc. When I come to visit it, I don't want no CAB.
Better be Belgium and it better be cold

Just disposed of some Spotted Cow, a few Guinness and Killian's Red over the weekend, Don. Ya missed it. Mebbe we can find some of that elusive Belgie swill when you decide to show up, tho.

It's here and on the mother box.
No instructions and 2 bolts come with it.
Have no idea

Weigh it down with tools and you'll need no "attachment".
