On this Veterans Day, please take a moment to remember all those who served in uniform past and present. Though the words in this famous poem are about a soldier, they apply to every member of our armed services. God bless them all. May we never forget the sacrifices made to secure our liberty.

<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">It’s the Soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us the freedom of the press.

It’s the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us the freedom of speech.

It’s the Soldier, not the politicians,
Who ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

It’s the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag.</span></span>

I've personally thanked some vets today....mostly, guys who are my students.

We're doing a Vet's Day dinner with Lin's Dad tomorrow night (he's a WW II vet).

Thanks to ALL vets out there!

Thank you to all who served or are serving now. You are appreciated.

To all the vets here, current and past, at 11:11, I stood back from my toolbox and saluted. You guys ARE my heros. No words can express the debt we owe all of you.
