And back to you Tinster! Is this celibrated in addition to christmas, or in place of? (forgive my ignorance).

Banjo- celebrated as the last day of christmas

Three Kings day is an ancient tradition much
older than our Christmas day. It has been celebrated
since the early days of the church and represents
the Three Wise Men (Kings)who followed the star to
the manger where they gave gifts to baby Jesus.

Three Kings day is when we exchange gifts with
each other. Our children's gifts are brought by
camels and the kids leave grass and straw for
the camels to snack upon. Kinda like Santa and
his cookies.

The only day in Puerto Rico when there are no
traffic jams anywhere.

I like it!! They have camels in PR? Greek Orthodox Christmas tomorrow too James, it's that old Julian calendar. As kids we always got to celebrate Christmas twice (Mum's Anglican, Dad's Orthodox)!!
