Thinking about my dad - gone now since 2002

thinking about my kids - happy in various parts of the country.

thinking about other "spiritual" fathers -men in my life who while they weren't related by blood might have been closer.

will be raising one to them all today.

thank you God for all of them.

and for you guys too.

Thanks, and back at ya, JP!

That was a very nice gesture thanks to you and back at you too--Keoke

Thanks JP. Happy Fathers Day to all.

X2 Elliot! I'm combining Fathers day and my birthday, the 18th, as my son and his two children, one my only granddaughter that I haven't seen in 10 years, is arriving on my birthday to visit. The wife and I are on pins and needles waiting! Best Fathers Day & Birthday ever! :encouragement: PJ

I've got the best present.... my son happened to be born on Fathers Day. Today is his birthday!

Thanks to all those Dads and stand-in Dads I have known and been friends with over the years.

Here's me and my Dad (88) two days ago. I know I'm lucky to have him.
After this shot was taken, we went to the boardwalk at ~Spring Lake~ and then out to lunch.
He tells some great stories.

Nice Nial, nice!

Lost my dad in 79, 35 years now.
First word kind of sums it up.

Mine left the table in '94. <sigh>

I've been missing my dad for 40 years.

Only 12 years for me but even that seems like a very long time. Still miss the old feller.

It's the memories that sustain. My dad died in '65 - but as a compass, his way and his teachings have always been right there with me.
