1) Tuesday, cleaned the carburetors again and things improved.
2) Wednesday, problem with carburetor solved by replacing the in line fuel filter.
3) Thursday, Got my License plates and registration. Headlights and windshield wipers started working all by themselves.
4) Friday, bolted on the plates and installed the seats.
5) Saturday, been driving all over town. Runs good, idle went up from 800 to 1500 after a few miles. Still runs hot and diesels at shut down.
Now back to the road ! Yee-haw

Awesome! I had 2 happy days with my TR3. Restored twice so two maiden voyages. Wish I could have driven mine today. It's still sitting in the garage with the top down but in the 20s today. However I did sell some TR parts today and painted my TR6 block and head.

Nice! So jealous! In the 30s here today, and my TR is still months away from completion. Soon enough....

Looks wonderful, happy Driving. Give her a blip on the throttle and hold the pedal down as you turn off the key, the cold air will cool things down and prevent the dieseling.
