I was too young to remember where I was when JFK went, but strangely I do remember where I was and what I was doing when I first saw Star Trek on TV back in the day.

err... Shouldn't that be: "Live long and prosper." ?!?!
 
Possibly my favorite show of all time. When it came out, you couldn't tear me from the TV set. That and "The Wild, Wild West" with Robert Conrad came out at about the same time.

Shatner, with his cocky swagger, was perfect for the lead role. The rest of the cast was great, too. Gene Roddenberry, what a great screen writer, and what a great show.

Nothing like it nowadays . . . just "reality" programming. What rubbish! :yesnod:
 
Of course it should. Just was seeing who was paying attention and who wasn't. (Star Wars, by the way.)
