Back at ya! I hope everyone had a grand 4th of July! The wife and our future daughter-in-law attended some local festivities in town and had a great time with lots of music and some great speakers (didn't know who they were, but they were good speakers just the same!)

I never got 'round to wishing a happy 4th myself. Spent yesterday goofing off and recovering from a marathon 6-hour flight on Friday. Neighborhood fireworks were fun to watch last night, lots of 'em intermixed with the distance battle throb of the municipal displays from three different towns.

Should have gone to the beach to watch because this might have been the last time they'll ever do fireworks at the beachside towns. What a shame :frown:

Is it ~still~ rainin' up there, John?!?!

Sheesh! I think you guys have about had enuff.

I did a fun gig for a private party last night, then my bandmate and I went up to the foothills above Salt Lake City to watch the fireworks -- you can see a couple different shows from up there.

We found a high school that had a nice area for viewing, with lots of folks on the lawn. We wound up at the edge of the parking lot since we were late to the show. Good thing, too, as right before the big fireworks finale the sprinklers came on!

I was also distracted by a very nice TR4A that was in the lot next to where we were standing. I spent as much time looking at it as at the fireworks.

Hope everyone had a great Fourth, I know I did. I attnded a TEA rally and heard some rousing oratory, but was wondering if it was unpatriotic of me to drive my British Auto to a Fourth of July event?

Happy fourth Dale.

It would be un-American if you didn't drive our best allies car on this day. Ours was great. It hasn't rained for nearly two days ad the sun was actually out today. Won a few bucks playing golf, so all was well.
