A quart of pork fried rice and a pair of chopsticks!

That was last night Doc.! MMM, good with a little moo shu pork on the side!

mmmmmmm, just finished up my Four delights beef combo (came with pork fried rice). Yummy. And, I still have a shrimp eggroll for lunch tomorrow.
I've always loved this refrence to Moo-Shoo Pork

My wife found Smithwicks beer at the new grocery here and brought some home, Weeeeee. It is Irsh Ale by the way.

Almost got some Chinese takeout tonight... decided to cook instead. Must be something in the air tonight.

Mine was Thai: more egg, less oil. No MSG. MMmmmmm...

Is it just our subliminal way of propping up the Chinese economy? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Thai is some of may favorite, Doc (right after Indian). Out where I live, though, we were happy enough to find decent Chinese. Small farm towns are not usually know for their fine Asian cuisine.

dock, last sunday home made seafood bisque from the scratch, crab, lobster, scallops, shrimp, and scrod, tadders cut in small cubes and dry sherry lots ah sherry, made up just under two gallons after the feeding frenzy froze into double portion size containers. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Friend of mine, when I was a kid, had a cat named "Mooshoo", after the Chinese cuisine. Spelling wasn't his strong suit at the time.

Same problem here. We have some good ones in the tourist areas but not much elsewhere. Same problem with some other "ethnic" foods. I lived in So California for a few years and loved the Mexican cooking and only recently have found decent Mexican here.

Going home to coastal North Carolina this weekend. Mom's home cooking includes fried shrimp, fried scallops, cole slaw, Eastern North Carolina style barbeque; I'm packing the extra Lipitor.

I was thinking more like sleeping kids and a pair of thigh highs /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif

It's been a rough week Doc...
