Tell us about that beautiful peice of Iron, SCCA MG 1275 race engine, on your web site. I swear I am going to sneak up there and steal it.

Wonder if this is it? Tell us more.

SCCA Limited Prep 1275 engine has now been approved for use in full prep suspension chassis for the 2006 season. What this means if you currently run a 948 engine in HP or run the full prep 1275 in FP you can convert to the LP spec 1275 engine and run in HP now. We have almost 4 years now in R&D work in this engine and are on the top of the development curve for this engine. It is possible to convert your FP 1275 engine to limited prep spec with your current block and other items you already have. Below I've listed items we currently have and do for the LP 1275 engines. Please feel free to call for more details on this new classification.

Y'know, I just clicked on the link from the MG forum you posted Jack, and I too drooled over that thing. I was there to find out 'how much' SU rebuilding would cost until I saw that, then thoughts of christmas wrapping paper came into my head and would like to test the pshycic abilities of the Mrs....we shall see.
