Hello everyone.

Anyone have a "Fork End to Handbrake Lever" that they are willing to part with? Part No. 27 in diagram. It appears that I was too hasty in tossing my old hand brake lever and I failed to strip it of this critical and hard to find part. Not available at any of the parts houses that I've checked (and I think I checked them all). Much appreciated.

Pat

Thanks John

The Ebay fork is a good fall back if I can't drum one up here on the forum. I appreciate the lead. Marv, I'll PM you.

Pat,

I have one. I remembered it hanging on the wall, with a broken length of cable attached to it, for the longest time. I started cleaning up some of the unusable parts a few months back. Today, I found it in the scrap metal bin. The threaded cable end was still 'froze' to the clevis, but a little heat and Pblaster freed it. Pm me with your physical address, and I'll send it to you. -My way of saying thanks for the body-work/paint videos and information you send me some time back.

I did not have one when I was working on my 3. I made one out of steel strap and heated and bent to make the fork and drilled a hole and put nuts on each side to lock the cable in place. Not original but works.
