Hamburg, PA - Jim Thorpe Classic Car Run

Russ,

The date(s) for the run are set. The run is set for 9/15. IF we have rain that day, the rain date is 9/22. I'll post on here the day before the run if we have to cancel due to rain.

Any and all cars are welcome to join us. The only "rule" is they must be at least 25 years or older. We've already got a couple Volvos signed up, so we're definitely not going to be exclusively British. Heck, I may even have an old International Scout joining us. Not 100% sure about that one yet.

If your friend is interested in joining us, just have him fill out a registration form and send it in to me before 9/1.

Just bumping this up again. We're about a month away from the registration deadline for this run, so I just wanted to give everyone a little reminder.

Info, registration forms, and some pictures of past runs (some with my MINI club) are all available here: https://millpondminis.com/JTCR.htm

Look forward to seeing some of you in September (possibly even in my Spitfire if we're finished by then)!

Another reminder...

I know there was some interest expressed in this way back when I first posted it.

We're up to 6-7 cars officially right now and there's still time to register. Unfortunately, for some reason I can't edit my first post to keep a running list of who's registered. Deadline to register is 9/1, so it's a good time to start mailing in those forms if you're planning to join us.

Full details about the drive are in the first post of this thread. Registration forms available here:
https://millpondminis.com/JTCR.htm

One more bump to remind everyone that the registration deadline for this run is fast approaching. Forms need to be in (or at least postmarked) by 9/1. Forms can be downloaded here:
https://www.millpondminis.com/BL/JTCR_Registration_Form.pdf

Your $5/person registration fee covers a BBQ lunch at my parent's farm with your choice of hamburgers, hot dogs, or grilled chicken, plus some wonderful local ice cream for dessert.

Full details of the run, and pictures from past versions of the run can be found on my event website:

Russ, sorry to hear you won't be able to join us. If all goes well again this year, I'll probably do this again next September so keep your eyes peeled. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

For those who are registered for this run...

We are ON for Saturday. Due to the chance of showers in the morning, I'm delaying the start of the run one hour so that hopefully the rain will have cleared out.

Please be at the Cracker Barrel in Hamburg and ready leave by 11am.

See you then! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

(oops, Jerseygirl posting under IanF's screen name :b)

Marty,

So glad you decided to join us. It was nice to get a couple more Brits out on the run this year and hopefully there will be even more next year!

If you had any likes, dislikes, or suggestions for improvement for next year, let's hear 'em. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
