HALLALUJIAH!!! FINALLY....

tony barnhill said:
But, here's some of what's waiting for it in the GarageMahal (all new, rebuilt or refurbished)....& there's lots more:

Drool - For the life of me I can't figure out whether I want to invite myself over to play or whether I need to be figuring out how to marry Mrs Autoist when you kick the bucket - both for the inheritance and the permission :jester:

maybe both

Very nice, Tony, Very nice. I believe your Midget will qualify as "much better than it left the factory" now.

That all looks like really good "rainy day" stuff to put on the car while it is pouring outside!!!

I think you should bubble wrap the whole car once you you get it all done.

They say that you should put a scratch somewhere that no one can see to protect it from dings on the outside.
(Who ever they are)

When I get mine ready can I bring it up there and have the same paint job? It sould be the benchmark for all restorations.

That's what Jack did with Miss Agatha - he brought her up here & left her for Ricky to work his magic!

...IT's HOME!!!

& the work can begin....at the body shop, on the trailer, in my drive, in the garage & under its cover until I start reassembly this afternoon!! WOO HOO!!

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

You're going to be a busy man, Tony. Should be fun, though. No greasy bits, just nice clean painted metal.

What me, jealous?

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

Ok lets get some wheels on it so we have a roller. Man do I expect to see great things on a daily basis.

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

Working on wiring harness right now & finding many things that just won't work...i.e., the flasher in the old harness was spade connectors - the new flasher needs screw type connectors...& there's no 'headlamp-to-headlamp' harness included in the new one so I have to clean up & reuse the old one.

Among other things!

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

Actually, Tony, I think you should stay off the BCF for a week, and devote that time to reassembly and documentation. Then you can post up the pictures for us to admire. See ya in a week?

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

hehehehe...just when I get going good, UPS shows up with parts for you guys...should I put them off also?

Tony, you are a funny funny guy!!
Next thing we know you'll be on Letterman doing a standup routine!

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

I know, I got an idea. What Tony needs is a web cam so we can see what is going on.

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

Tony,
Have a blast just put the 65 on jack stands tonight. getting ready to hang suspension should be fun.

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

Jack needs to go camp out in Tony's garage and give us a "play by play", like a golf commentator.

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

I offered to go help but Tony said he wanted to do it himself. Shucks we could have it running by now.

Re: ...IT's HOME!!!

and he'll be beggin for helpers!
we should call tony "the bandit",
hes got a long way to go, and a short
time to get there! ....z
