Had dinner with Chip Foose last night ...

OK, if you want to get all technical about it, ... we had dinner three booths over from Chip.

But, when he got up to leave I waved and said Hi Chip! Then he came over, gave me a fist bump, asked our names and introduced his wife. Very gracious.

About this time the other diners recognized him too and he was just as gracious, waving and saying hi to everybody.

I really like that guy.

He certainly comes across as most genuine on TV; his fame doesn't seem to have gone to his head. And what he does for folks with their cars is great; you can tell he really cares about their stories as well.
