I was just putting my carbs back together after a thorough cleaning and I havent been able to figure out how the throttle return spring mechanism on the foremost portion of the forward carb shaft is supposed to be arranged. I took pics before I took them apart but this pic is very blurry. If anyone could send me a pic or explain to me how the spring and two plates should be arranged I would be extremely thankful.

Spring goes in the middle. It's job is to keep the butterflys closed. It is installed with about a half a turn of tension on it.

A Pic is worth a 1000 words. Look at the Moss cat and the VB cat. Use a magnifying glass if you have old eyes like mine.

I should think it would be difficult to screw it up as it has to work and I think will only go one way to do that.
