Well, on the plus side, he could have a picnic indoors when it rains.
 
My business repairs equipment like this and I can't tell you how many times we've found living and non-living creatures like this in machines. The worst is when they bring it in and set it down on the desk and the roaches run out everywhere!
 
and I thought I got to work on neasy stuff being an auto mechanic... Lots, of mice, occasionally an ant colony under a carpet,the occasional snake or the mess from whatever large animal they hit/ ran over or somthing that was warming itsself on an engine block only to get caught in some rotating parts or cooked. But at least it's not in my house!!!

We used to have a pretty nasty problem with mice in airplane in Virginia. If they get into the airplane they'll stay and invite all their friends to eat every bit of everything they can. Never saw one in the air though :smile:

Speaking of bugs - I had the pleasure of hearing Rear Adm. Grace Hopper speak years ago when I was going through Squadron Officer's School. To say she was an amazing lady would be a gross understatement! She is often credited with coining the term "debugging" after her co-workers discovered a moth in a relay on a Mark II computer.

neat link Basil.. truly one of the unsung heros of her time. I'm glad to have been made aware of her. Nothing like an incredibly intelligent person with common sense and a sense of humor. a rare combination.
 
She was PERCEPTIVE. And doin' her job. Kudos to her and the way she worked!!! Zummy and DEC were aware of that.
