GOOD SHORT story; during my Nam years I was Army Aviation also CH 47's I was flight line and worked as crew a few times in my one and a half years of my two and half years in Southeast Asia. Madflyer

Good on Chappie and Robin for welcoming him into the club.

I flew as "backseat baggage" out of Ubon, 8th TFW, long after Chappie and Olds were gone. Got to be part of those who documented the "Last Bombing Mission" in SEA on 15 Aug 73. Never saw or heard of this Army effort before now. Thanks, PC!!!

Two of my friends are on the Wall, BTW. One out of NKP, an OV-10 jock shot down over Laos, the other PCS'd from Ubon and shot down on the rescue for BAT-21B when in an HH-53 Jolly.
