Gumbo today

The air was brisk so I feel like making a gumbo today.

Most people make either a seafood or chicken/sausage gumbo. I break the rules and combine the two. Chicken, sausage, shrimp, crab, oyster gumbo.

We eat at 6 tonight. Ya'll want to come over??

Swmbo made gumbo last night. Chicken and ham? I know that's not traditional but it's what she had. Darn good too. Of course I made the roux.

Indeed, the gumbo was superb, on of the best I ever made.
