....and came out a year or so after I ran that river.
 
Floated that river in the 80's with our Explorer Post Crew. We actually ate dinner at the boarding house where the actors stayed. Was it the French Broad? I remember that it didn't really have a waterfall like in the movie, but had six (?) smaller falls that you could shoot over. Sweet white water!
