MGB-GT GT with a rear spoiler... I kinda like it..

...but I thought a spoiler will make the car go faster... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sure it will....just ask any BoiRacer in a ricer. That and a coffee can for an exhaust... bloody things sound like two-stroke weed eaters.

Come on doc! You're not seeing the "big picture" here. The bigger the spoiler the better. If you get one big enough it'll block your rear view (which doesn't matter, 'cause what's behind ya doesn't matter anyways!), AND block the FORWARD view of that Suburban that's been tailgating you for the last 50 miles. Of course, you won't know they're back there because the spoiler is just too dang big... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Something like THIS ought to do the trick!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Found at this site: https://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Spoilers.html

There are certain vehicular body lines that lend themselves well to the addition of spoilers, and most manufacturers of these cars recognize the fact and include spoilers as an option. However, like most other people it seems, I do not believe our LBCs fall into that category. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gotta love rear spoilers on a front wheel drive car.

Mehheh. I think Rob_P's "Performance Enhanced" weed whacker is the most appropriate use of a wing outside of a Ferrari 248 F-1 I've seen in years!

come on... F40?

hmmm... that's a bit different I suppose. That wing is an integral part of the car... not some after-market do-hickey held on with chewing gum... though, I always have thought the F40 wing was a bit ugly.....

Heck, I just bought a new Impala LTZ with the 3.9 engine (that shuts off half the cylinders when not "needed") the touring suspension and tires, and (you guessed it) a SPOILER on the tail. Although, there is a $150 credit available to delete the spoiler from the factory. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

That's waaay different than schtuppin' some tin-can and pop-rivets construct on a "weedwhacker" ricer.

This is about equivalent:

Tim - not long ago, that spoiler was stil offered by Moss UK - you might want to check with them before you tackle making a mold.

I kinda like the spoiler on the B - I think it would go along with the LE front spoiler. I can't see any type of spoiler on my TR though - I'm stripping the bumpers off for a cleaner look.

Now what fun would that be? I have the GT spoiler. Once I have some room to move my car out a bit, I can get behind it to see the roadster fit issues. From the pics my customer sent me, it shouldn't be a big job. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
