Are these supposed to curve inward with a couple of degree kink about 2-3 inches from the base of the post?

I thought they were flat (planar) glass. No curves.

The glass looks flat, but the rest has a curve to it, which would be explainable to follow the curve of the carbody, but the kink at the base (far right) is what bothers me.
The old one was broken in two, just below the right angle and the PO had taken the post out and tossed it, so I don't have that to check against.

The gradual curve is normal. The "kink" at the bottom is NOT normal. That base has a TON of adjustment down there... looks like the DPO may have just tightened it down with the window glass in the "up" position and figured that to be "good enuff." The kink appears to be right at the point where the glass stops.

Thanks Bud, if I could find some Bermuda Blue paint, I'd take you up on that.
Is that used Brit car graveyard in your locale?
