I think it may be somewhat attributable to the profession. I've noted that builders don't seem to be too tied to email, either.

The guy who built my house last year, a very busy and prominent builder, didn't even have email! Spent a lot of time on his cell phone, but hated email and refused to use it!

And, to those who earn a living by working with their hands, sitting in front of a computer pecking on a keyboard doesn't bring home the bacon. :yesnod:
 
Been trying to get answers from Prestige and NADA!

As I remember, Prestige used to have a 212 number (new york) that you could call and it would be forwarded to the UK.
Don't know if they still have it but you might check it out.

Here's another place you might try for carpet. I have not used them, but I've heard good things.
