I have never heard of "groving the head" and never read anything "Kas" wrote about it but I ran across the artical below and wonder if anybody has tried this with a TR6.

Some more info here, but I couldn't get the linked pictures to come up. I'd be willing to try it, but There seems to be different patterns used on different engines. I would at least want to know what patterns would work best on whatever type of cylinder chamber you're working with.
