Don't forget Alberta's own Balzac Billy, the best ground hog out there...

Out west here he hasn't shown up yet, sun's still down and I'm off to work shortly... I'll report in later...

We are closing in on 20" but the snow is mostly over and the winds are slowing a little. Supposed to be -10 or lower tonight but that is OK too. Its the guys in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas and out East that I feel sorry for.

I think the funny part is the weather in Dallas!

I think it's all a myth used to boost the economy of Punxsutawney

ya think?!

"scientific studies show groundhog predictions to have a success rate of more like 37 per cent."

BTW don't really know what happened to the storm - maybe 5 inches here, and, my tenants our out shoveling snow - not sure why but I'm not complaining!

I'll be in Florida too, just on the other side from you.

umm... it's a fairly narrow peninsula. Any down-time in your schedule?

Lots now, I got scrapped from the trip at the last second. Boss needs me here instead. We might be back down here later this year.

well, the blizzard turned out to be a complete bust, this has been making the rounds - about three years old from the Rick Mercer report (local media spoof show)

Just as relevant today somehow.
